Public Discovery & Leads

Using Share Buttons for Studios and Events

Learn how public share buttons can help studios and organizers promote studio profiles and event pages.

Overview

Public studio and event pages are easier to promote when visitors can share them quickly.

DanceFlow public pages may include share buttons so dancers, studios, and organizers can copy or share the current page link.

Where share buttons help

Share buttons are useful for:

  • Studio profile pages
  • Public event pages
  • Workshop announcements
  • Social dance events
  • Competitions and showcases
  • Guest coach events

How sharing works

When supported by the device or browser, the share button can open the native share menu.

This may let someone share the page through text message, email, social apps, or other installed apps.

When native sharing is not available, the page can fall back to copying the link.

Why this matters

Sharing helps public pages travel beyond the original audience.

A dancer might share an event with a partner.

A studio owner might share a public event page on social media.

An organizer might send the event link directly to instructors, competitors, or attendees.

Best practice

Before sharing, make sure the public page has the correct:

  • Event name
  • Date and time
  • Location
  • Ticket options
  • Registration details
  • Public visibility settings

A complete public page makes shared links more effective.
