Overview
DanceFlow events can support public registration, ticket sales, admin-side ticket sales, and attendee check-in.
This helps studios and organizers manage events without maintaining separate registration lists.
Basic event setup
Before selling tickets, make sure the event is:
- Published
- Public, if it should appear publicly
- Public directory enabled, if it should appear in discovery
- Connected to ticket types or registration options
Public registration
Visitors can register or purchase tickets from the public event page when registration is open.
The event page should show event details, dates and locations, ticket options, and any available add-ons or schedule information.
Admin-side ticket sales
Studios can also sell tickets from the admin/workspace side.
This is helpful when:
- A customer pays in person
- Staff need to register someone manually
- A front desk team is handling event sales
Managing registrations
Use the registrations area to review attendees, ticket types, registration status, and payment details.
Check-in
Use check-in when attendees arrive at the event.
Check-in helps the organizer know who attended and supports cleaner event records.
Best practice
Keep ticket names simple and make sure public pricing and registration deadlines are clear before publishing the event.
