Public Discovery & Leads

Making Your Studio Visible in Public Discovery

Learn what controls whether your studio appears in public discovery and how to improve your public listing.

Overview

Public discovery helps dancers find studios on DanceFlow.

Your studio only appears publicly when public directory visibility is enabled and the required public profile details are saved.

What controls public visibility

Your studio must have public discovery enabled.

The most important setting is:

Public Directory Enabled

When this is turned on, your studio can appear in public discovery.

Recommended public profile fields

For the best listing, complete:

  • Public studio name
  • Short public description
  • About this studio
  • City
  • State
  • ZIP code
  • Public phone or email, if you want it shown
  • Website URL
  • Studio logo
  • Hero image

Location and search

DanceFlow uses your location details to help with discovery and Search Near Me.

Add at least:

  • City
  • State
  • ZIP code

When geocoding is enabled, DanceFlow can store latitude and longitude to make nearby search more accurate.

Why your studio may not appear

Common reasons include:

  • Public directory is turned off
  • The studio has no public location details
  • Search filters are hiding the studio
  • The public profile was saved before required fields were completed
  • The page needs to be refreshed after saving settings

Best practices

  • Use a clear short description.
  • Add a welcoming About section.
  • Upload a clean logo and hero image.
  • Use the city and ZIP where dancers are most likely to search.
  • Keep public contact details current.
